New partner Joshua E. Carlin joins Providence civil litigation firm.
Providence, Rhode Island – Hanson Curran LLP announced today that Joshua E. Carlin has joined the firm as its newest partner.

Mr. Carlin, previously of White, Carlin & Kelly, comes to Hanson Curran with a robust background of experience in multiple areas of practice, concentrating in civil litigation.

Mr. Carlin is an experienced civil litigator who concentrates his practice in the defense of claims of professional liability against health care providers and in the general representation of hospitals and healthcare workers. His long-term experience in defending claims related to medical care has allowed him to develop a comprehensive understanding of claims evaluation and the most effective litigation tactics for defending these cases. Mr. Carlin also has experience in the defense of general civil litigation matters, including personal injury and employment law matters.
Mr. Carlin was selected for inclusion in Rhode Island Super Lawyers® – Rising Stars Edition in 2010, 2011 and 2012. He regularly lectures to physician and nursing groups and participates in education programs for healthcare providers designed to educate his clients address and assist them in preventing claims.
